Sunday delight


Ingredients
1) potatoes deskinned (boiled and mashed)
    5- nos
2) shredded chicken (boiled in pepper and salt) -300 gms
3) butter 
4) pepper
5) garam masala
6) ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp
7 coriander leaves chopped
8) mint leaves chopped
9) lemon juice squeezed-1tsp
10) onion chopped -2
11) green chilly -2 chopped


Procedure

Mash the boiled potatoes and keep aside. Add a small blob of butter along with some pepper and salt ,stir it well and keep it aside

Take a round bottom pan and add some oil into it.  Once heated add in the onions along with the chillies and ginger garlic paste. Fry the mixture until the onion turns mildly brown. Throw in the chicken into it and add 1/2 tsp of pepper and garam masala while stiring. simmer the flame while adding coriander and mint leaves and a bit of lime juice in the end.
Make flat palm shaped firm patties out of the potato mixture .To avoid sticky hands use a bit of oil..If the consistency is loose it can be compensated by adding a bit of breadcrumbs  or shredded bread pieces into it. The chicken mixture must be put over the patties and the patties must be sealed making round sized balls out of it
Dip the balls in egg and breadcrumbs before deep frying it until it turns crisp and brown on the outside..Serve hot with sauces of your choice :)
